Dear Friends of the University of the Holy Land,
During this season of celebration, we are mindful of the blessings of the past year, the most important of which is your friendship. As the calendar year draws to an end, please keep the University of the Holy Land in your thoughts and prayers.
If you have not already made your contribution this year — do not let the year end without supporting the 2007 Friends of the University of the Holy Land Fund. You should know that tuition from students covers less than 50% of the costs of our program’s operations. Keeping tuition low enables students from under-resourced countries to study. We encourage their participation as the “word from Jerusalem” should be made available to the entire world. We also offer scholarships to enable the best and the brightest young students to receive an unparalleled education at UHL.
This year, our website has grown: we have increased our on-line courses and have developed a program to provide better access to our publications on the net.
In addition, as you surely are aware, UHL and its staff has gained prominance and recognition in the news, at the forefront of research on archaelogical issues in the Holy Land. We could not have done this without your support.
With the approach of the new year, we want to be able to say that we have more than a thousand Friends of the University of the Holy Land who make contributions annually to its various services. Please consider becoming one of them.
You will find the details for making a tax deductible contribution at: http://www.uhl.ac/helpsupport.html.
You can also call us at 417-200-4305 or fax us at 877-822-6418.
Thank you for your faithful support,
President of the UHL
